Joyful Praise News

Joyful Praise has been a lot of fun! We are traveling for nine more weeks and will be going as far east as Pennsylvania etc. and as far west as Idaho and Colorado! There are five on the group as follows: Christa Schofield, Charity Schofield, Bethany Miller, Sarah Fish, and Holly Moline. Oh and don't forget our wonderful Mr. and Mrs. Bevis! We love them lots and are thankful for their guidance and direction. We have already been to over 20 churches and there are many more to come! We were also able to record with Pastor Michel on 'I Believe in Miracles'. It was really fun and brought back many memories of VOP recordings! Mom and the kids came to hear us and it was such a blessing to see them one more time before our big departure.
It's a blast to travel with Charity. I never thought that would happen. I'm thankful the Lord is giving us that time together before her big wedding! This coming Wednesday we leave for Colorado! I'm really excited because I've never been there before.
The above picture with the cow was taken in Neillsville, Wisconsin. It was supposedly the world's largest talking cow. When we put a quarter in it the cow didn't even moo! It was some lady just telling us the history of this talking cow that couldn't moo! It was kind of funny!! :-)
I am really enjoying my 3rd year traveling. I miss being home and seeing everyone, but the Lord has already been teaching me a lot through this years summer group. One of the biggest lessons that He has been teaching me is from Psalm 25 concerning the Fear of the Lord. It's been a challenge to see how God alone should be my source of pleasure and power. God has been teaching me a lot and I can't wait to see you all in person to tell you all about our adventures. Until then keep an eye on my blog :-)

(wow, that was definitely a run-on sentence!) ha! :) great memories for sure! o, and remember how we always went to culvers to eat afterwards because we'd be so hungry, and then we would stay so long they would start cleaning up all around us! hee, hee! they probably hated us!!! :)
